LPI’s Tracy Earl Welliver was on the road again in November providing a variety of stewardship events and services to parishes across the United States.
First, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee hosted the Spirituality of Stewardship Conference for Leaders for close to 700 people from across the region on November 3rd and 4th. Tracy spoke at four sessions on the topic of bringing young people into a stewardship way of life. He emphasized that our youth are the Church of today and not just of tomorrow. The Body of Christ needs all parts, regardless of age, if it is to truly preach the Gospel effectively to the world. He urged the participants to make clear to our youth that we need them just as much as they need the Church.
Next, Tracy Earl Welliver was in Corpus Christi, Texas leading Catholic School teachers and staff for a day of StrengthsFinder © exploration and discovery. The event took place at the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz Center and was attended by over 400 education professionals. Tracy used his nearly a decade of experience as a strengths coach to help those in attendance see how God created each of them on purpose for a purpose. The event saw participants share with one another their Top 5 talent themes they received from taking the assessment online. The entire day was filled with learning, reflection, laughter, and music.
Finally, Tracy Earl Welliver has been working hard with several parishes in helping them develop a long-range pastoral plan. From St. Michael the Archangel in Cary, NC to St. Peter in Douglas, MI, Tracy has been bringing his experience of 25 years working in the Church as well as the collective wisdom of our nearly 6,000 partner parishes to communities like these in an effort to help them chart a course for success. Tracy always reminds them of the words of Yogi Berra: “If you don’t where you are going, you will end up someplace else.” With the help of LPI and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, parish communities can end up in a place where they find themselves as clearer reflections of the Kingdom of God.
