With the late November emphasis on shopping, supporting small businesses, and hot online deals, we know it can be easy to lose sight of what really matters. #GivingTuesday is an international day of generosity. Individuals and organizations donate to worthy causes around the world. LPi is grateful to have partnered with three Catholic organizations building vibrant communities, matching donations dollar for dollar this Giving Tuesday.
Our Giving Tuesday results are in! Together we raised $11,960! Because of your generosity, Catholic Climate Covenant will have more resources to inspire and equip people and institutions to care for creation and care for the poor. Haiti180 will have support to build infrastructure changing lives in Haiti. Life Teen International has increased ability to reach today’s teens, restore parishes, transform lives, and reclaim culture.
Together we can build vibrant parishes, a vibrant Church, and help one another change the world.

LPI’s Tracy Earl Welliver was on the road again in November providing a variety of stewardship events and services to parishes across the United States.
First, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee hosted the Spirituality of Stewardship Conference for Leaders for close to 700 people from across the region on November 3rd and 4th. Tracy spoke at four sessions on the topic of bringing young people into a stewardship way of life. He emphasized that our youth are the Church of today and not just of tomorrow. The Body of Christ needs all parts, regardless of age, if it is to truly preach the Gospel effectively to the world. He urged the participants to make clear to our youth that we need them just as much as they need the Church.

Sharing Stewardship in Utah
October 24th ended a three-day Everyday Stewardship parish mission at St. George Catholic Church in St. George, Utah. LPI’s Tracy Earl Welliver began the event by speaking at all the weekend Masses about how our baptism places an indelible mark on us claiming us for Christ. We have to ask the question, “What do we really own and what owns us?” Hopefully we can answer with conviction that we have offered all to God and that we belong to Him.
