Sharing 40 Years of History
Your history is our history and it has been for 40 years.

Last month we asked you to start sharing your stories of our forty-year history working together in printed communications, so let the sharing begin! This month's story comes from St. Thomas More University Parish in Bowling Green, Ohio. Bulletin editor Mary Jo shares her experience:
"A mere 6 years ago I was still cutting and pasting bulletins together, so I love the computerized version of creating a bulletin. I would like to say kudos to Kelly [Dale], as she is always patient, no matter what the question or dilemma. It’s a blessing to know that I can call Kelly at any time and she will patiently guide me through the glitch. This is not necessarily a common occurrence, however, in our current culture it is reassuring to know that there will be a kind and helpful voice on the line. Thanks Kelly!"
To thank Mary Jo for her submission, we're sending her a $100 gift card! And we're just getting started--we want to hear your stories too, about what it used to be like to create your bulletin or newsletter, about the LPi employees you remember most.
Between now and April 30 we'll be collecting your stories. Then for the rest of the year we'll be sharing those stories with you, via this monthly newsletter and on our website. If we use your story, we'll thank you with a $100 gift card. If we use a story that mentions a current LPi employee, that employee gets the same $100 thank you!

Special Notes for This Month
Early Transmission Dates for Easter
Although many churches are preparing for Lent right now, Easter is just around the corner. Because of holiday office closures, your publication transmission dates will be affected. Please take a moment to refer to your 2012 Resource Calendar for early transmission deadlines.
If you haven't received a 2012 Resource Calendar, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we'll send one. You can also download the calendar from Art & Media Portal; search for keyword "2012 Resource Calendar," and be sure to choose the appropriate version for your organization (Central for accounts beginning 01, 02, and 05; Eastern for accounts beginning 03, 04, and 06; Mideast for accounts beginning 14 and 15).
Update Service Times for Ash Wednesday and Easter
Another point to keep in mind as Lent approaches is changes to your regular Mass or service times. Don't forget to update your Seek And Find listing and website with special times for Masses and services so members and visitors know when to show up; for a five-minute tutorial on updating service times, check out this post from the Seek And Find FIVE blog.
