40 Years of Connecting Communities
Another Story from Our 40th Anniversary Collection!
Thanks to all who have taken the time to share their stories about their bulletins. Please keep them coming! We will be collecting your stories through April 30. This month's story from our 40 year history of connecting communities comes from Anita at Holy Family parish.
Dear LPi:
I have been employed at Holy Family for 31 years. I took over the bulletin in the early 90's. In those days we were two parishes. I had to make two bulletins every week! Later, came the twinning of the parishes and thankfully, one bulletin was all we needed. A regular typewriter, cutting and pasting by hand, and running to our local printer was the procedure. Learning the computer was a challenge, but one I learned and really had fun with. When we decided to go to LPi for our bulletin quite a few years ago, Charlie was the first one who "walked me through" the hard times. Recently, Barry has been my "go to guy" for photo problems, set up, etc. Everyone at LPi has always been helpful, calm and reassuring when I needed assistance. That happy voice on the other end of the line helped me in so many ways. I was never hesitant to ask for help, for I knew someone would be there. Thanks, Barry!
Sincerely,
Anita
To thank Anita for sharing her story, we are sending her a $100 gift card. And Charlie and Barry will both receive gift cards as well, for giving superior service to Holy Family parish!
Now it's your turn! There's still time to share your story with LPi; send us your story by April 30--then for the rest of the year we'll be sharing those stories with you, via this monthly newsletter and on our website. If we use your story, we'll thank you with a $100 gift card. If we use a story that mentions a current LPi employee, that employee gets the same $100 thank you!
