Submitting Your Bulletin Early Made a Difference
LPi Printing Partners and Employees Step Up to Meet a Challenge.
As reports of Hurricane Sandy began to come in, employees in our Cromwell, CT, facility coordinated an emergency response. To get ahead of the storm, a notice was sent out asking print customers to transmit publications early. Special thanks to the 160+ customers who did, resulting in all of those publications being printed and shipped early, before Sandy made landfall.
By Monday, our response became a nationwide effort: our state-of-the-art pre-press software, LPi Express, enabled us to transfer the printing of more than 50 publications from Cromwell to Cleveland and Milwaukee, while EBS staff had calls forwarded so they could help customers from the safety of their homes.
A printed bulletin is no good if it doesn’t make it to the church, though. Sales, marketing, and office staff immediately began coordinating and volunteering throughout the region to personally deliver bulletins in their local areas where courier service was shut down.
As we all prepare for Thanksgiving, we would like to say thank you again to the staff and customers who worked together so tremendously during a very difficult time; LPi continues to stand ready to ensure you receive your publication on time, every time. Happy Thanksgiving!
The Open House Is Back On

Early Transmittal Dates for Holidays.
With the onset of winter weather and approaching holiday closings, LPi would like to remind you to transmit your publications early whenever possible. While it may be sunny out your window, weather in other parts of your region can have a detrimental effect on couriers. And please be sure to consult your Resource Calendar for early transmittal dates due to holidays.

As Thanksgiving approaches, LPi continues to be grateful for wonderful customer relationships we’ve developed over the last 40 years. And this month’s story takes customer relationship to a whole new level!
“I have history with LPi, as I used to work there. In 1992 I was a typesetter on 2nd shift, until 1994. It was a great job, with literally a typeset department; proof department; clip art (where they literally cut and taped art into the layout); paste up department. I established some good friends, many whom I still am in contact with today! I was a Mom to young kids, and working 6 PM until the work was finished 3 days a week was perfect for my life. The company was family friendly and it served my family well...I left LPi, only to be hired by a parish, St. John Neumann in Waukesha, where I am the parish secretary and... wait for it... the BULLETIN editor.
