What is WeShare?

WeShare, LPi’s Online Giving Management System, allows your members to donate to your parish efficiently, effectively, and securely. It is an automated means for your members to support your church financially through one-time or recurring contributions, as well as a tool to manage all parishioner transactions (event tickets, fundraising collections, school fees, etc.).


Can our members still donate using weekly envelopes?

Absolutely. Although donating online replaces the need for weekly envelopes, it is not mandatory.


What if our members feel uncomfortable not having something to physically drop into the collection basket?

Don’t worry! We provide a printable form that can be put into the collection basket that says, “We lovingly made our donation through WeShare.”


How do our members change their personal information such as their bank account number, mailing address, or donation amount?

Members can make these changes themselves by visiting their organization’s WeShare website, or by calling their organization’s office. Donors can plan their contributions for the entire year—or they can change their donation amount online whenever they like.


Which payment methods are accepted?

A church or organization can choose to allow contributions from checking accounts, savings accounts, debit cards, or major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.


Do members receive receipts for their donations?

Yes, all contributors enrolled with WeShare can elect to receive receipts via e-mail.


How do we get our members to sign up with WeShare?

We know how valuable your time is and we want to make online giving as easy as possible for your staff. Along with the ability to generate member accounts automatically by importing parishioner data into WeShare from your CMS, we provide marketing activation materials such as posters, bulletin flyers, postcards, donation slips, e-mail messages, and new member packet information to help educate your members and encourage them to set up an online donation account.


How soon can we expect our members to sign up with WeShare?

Each church or organization is different. Some members will sign up right away, and others will wait to hear how others like online giving. The key is constant communication, and our Engagement Manager partners with your parish to help you implement marketing materials. Our goal is to make the transition to online giving as easy as possible so your members will feel comfortable with the new technology.


Is WeShare safe?

Yes. We take security and privacy of both the church and its donors extremely seriously. We annually undergo an external audit to certify we are Level 1 for PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance. Our data center uses the latest state-of-the-art security measures resulting in an SSAE-16 Certification. You will never be responsible for collecting and storing credit card or bank account information associated with WeShare.
