Liturgical Publications Inc (LPi) Wins First Place in Catholic Press Association Awards

In the 2009 Catholic Press Association competition, Liturgical Publications Inc (LPi) garnered a first place award for its small group faith-sharing book, Reconciliación: El misterio revelado del amor y la misericordia de Dios. Authored by Clare Colella, Rory Cooney, and Joseph Favazza, the judges praised the work as offering “a clear understanding and appreciation of the sacrament. Working in small groups engages the participants in the learning process, inviting them to learn. Ideal for adults preparing to celebrate the sacrament [of penance].”

The Catholic Press Association grants book awards in several categories, and LPi took first place overall in the Spanish Language division. LPi is a General Publisher member of the CPA.

Author Clare Colella said of the award, “More than ever, I am aware of the terrific teamwork that goes into making any resource a good production! As you may well know there are many people to whom we are indebted who began attending to this ministry of Reconciliation first within the ministry of adult initiation, then as a need within the Church overall. It is a grace to be a part of this!”
