Company Makes Expansion Plans to Better Serve Catholic Churches Throughout the US.
Liturgical Publications Inc (LPi) is pleased to announce the promotion of a number of its employees to new positions that will aid in its focus on assisting churches, synagogues, and senior centers to engage, evangelize, and communicate their message with their membership and the greater community.
Pat Cannon was promoted to President of the newly formed Sponsored Products Division. Taking LPi’s 40 years of experience in church communications to the next level, Pat’s new role will be to expand the core business of LPi, advertising-supported printed bulletins and newsletters for churches, synagogues, and senior centers. This expansion will be done through strategic growth in its current markets, expanded geographic markets, and new products, such as advertising-supported websites custom-built for churches. Pat was formerly the Director of Sales and Marketing for LPi’s Central region and has been with LPi since 1991.
Joe Luedtke was promoted to President of the newly formed e-Giving Division. In his new position Joe will help LPi’s growth in a new strategic direction—helping churches engage their members using new technologies. LPi’s electronic giving product, WeShare, allows churches to give their members a way to make donations—recurring or one-time, capital campaign funding, or even event ticket purchases—online. Studies show that the use of credit cards for donations and online tools for banking and bill pay are on the rise. Helping churches take advantage of these tools to engage their members will be Joe’s focus in this new role. Joe has been with LPi for four years and prior to that was with Manpower.
Frank Horning is now LPi’s Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence. LPi is a national company with offices in New Berlin, WI; Denver, CO; Cuyahoga Heights, OH; and Cromwell, CT. Frank’s focus will be to make sure best practices in quality products and service are received by all of LPi’s customers. Frank’s 33 years with LPi gives him the experience to help LPi reach this goal.
Tim Potrikus is LPi’s new Vice President of Development. Tim will focus on relationship development for LPi. Working with nearly 4,000 Catholic churches throughout the country makes relationships with Catholic dioceses and other Catholic organizations key to LPi’s growth. Tim will develop these relationships nationwide. Tim has been with LPi since 2004 and was previously General Manger of LPi’s Eastern region.
Paul Knaapen will remain as LPi’s CEO and CFO. He will focus on LPi’s growth strategies through acquisitions and the development of new revenue streams.
