Version 1.15 of WeConnect is now live. This version includes a new theme, an updated theme picker, and the ability to embed a Google Calendar within your site. 

New Theme
Preview the new theme called "Earth." This option is available in several color schemes. To update the appearance of your site, click on the Appearance link in the WeConnect Administrative Menu.

Updated Theme Picker
Selecting a new theme is easier than ever! Click on the Appearance link in the WeConnect Administrative Menu, choose your theme, and then hover over and click to select your color scheme. You can update the appearance of your site at any time.

Embed a Google Calendar
You can now embed a Google Calendar within a WeConnect page. When editing a page, click the Insert Widget icon, and choose the Google Calendar option. Click the "Help" link for more information, or e-mail me if you would like help inserting a calendar on your site.

Take a look at how the store appears on a WeConnect site by clicking on the image to the left, and when you are ready to activate your Catholic Gift Store, or if you have any questions, please contact us! We will require your Tax ID to complete the installation.

There is now an additional Home Page Layout panel called Text. Dragging this panel to your Home Page Layout will allow you to insert whatever content you wish on your Home Page. Use the toolbar within the panel to paste and format custom messages, add hyperlinks or insert tables, images, video, the daily Scripture verse, or even a widget!

This addition was created because various churches recommended the functionality, so if there is something you would like to see on WeConnect, be sure to let us know!

Updated Getting Started Manual
We are happy to announce we have an updated version (Volume 2) of the Getting Started Manual. You'll find thorough WeConnect section details, and answers to FAQs like inserting a hyperlink or uploading a PDF. Updated WeConnect tutorial videos are coming soon as well, so stay tuned! 

Version 1.13 of WeConnect is now live. This version includes a new mobile template and a faster event calendar.

WeConnect Goes Mobile 
Take a look at your church website on your phone. Simply type your web address into your phone's internet browser and take advantage of an optimized mobile browsing experience, making the site simple to use and quick to navigate.

A new mobile template makes it easier to stay connected while on the go and makes website navigation a breeze. Parishioners can search for important church information, browse the bulletin, or view the event calendar right in the palm of their hand.

Calendar Changes
Event calendars will now be created using our own software making it faster, cleaner and iPad enabled. This change will pave the way for more dynamic calendar features in the future.

To add events to the calendar, click "Add Event" in the Event Manager and fill out the necessary boxes. For repeating events, check the "Repeats" box and click the day of the week you want the event to repeat.

Version 1.12 of WeConnect is now live. This version includes a revamped Site Administration interface, improved Home Page Layout functionality, and an updated Supporters page.

Revamped Interface
You’ll notice that the Site Administration interface has a sleeker design and category icons to ease navigation around the site. The WeConnect blog is now integrated into the home page of the Dashboard to provide you with site updates and news.

Supporters Page
If you click on your Supporters page you’ll notice that each advertiser now has a phone number displayed as well as an address. Advertisers receive more value for their sponsorship, and parishioners can easily connect with businesses that support the church.

Version 1.11 of WeConnect is now live. This version includes new Home Page panel options, updated Supporters page, and Google Analytics integration.

New Home Page Options
You'll notice two new "Panels" in the Home Page Layout options called Publications and Recent Twitter Activity. If you are a Liturgical Publications bulletin customer, the Publications panel allows you to display your weekly bulletin on your home page, and indicates which bulletin is most recent. If you have a Twitter account set up in the About Us section, your recent tweets will appear when you add this panel to your Home Page Layout. 

If you click on your Supporters page you'll notice a slight change to these listings--they now include a logo or image that reflects what kind of business they are. This will help your members easily identify categories of businesses that support your local community.

Google Analytics
If you are familiar with Google Analytics and have used it to track Web traffic to your church's home page in the past, you can now take advantage of a Google Analytics field in the About Us section. Simply copy and paste your unique Google code (found in your Google Analytics account) into this field, to start using the insightful--and completely free--online tool to monitor how visitors are using your WeConnect site.

We are happy to announce that WeConnect hit a milestone last week! There are now 100 churches actively using WeConnect to build their websites and communicate to their members.

Mobile Capability
Your WeConnect site is fully functional on your smart phone. If you have an iPhone or Android handy, visit your site and take a look at how it appears on a mobile browser!

Version 1.10 of WeConnect is now live. This version includes a new and improved Photo Manager, and another new Theme.

Improved Photo Manager
Be sure to check out WeConnect's easy-to-use Photo Manager! When writing a Blog entry or editing a Page you can choose to import photos from a previously created album, or upload a new photo. You can also crop photos, transfer photos from one album to another, rename photos, add titles, captions, and URL hyperlinks.

Add a Slideshow to Your Home Page
You'll notice a new "Panel" in the Home Page Layout options called Photo Galleries. This allows you to choose a specific photo gallery that will rotate through pictures, creating a Slideshow on your page.
