LPi Celebrates New Sales Office in Washington State

LPi is proud to announce the opening of our newest sales office, in Washington state! Located near the state’s capital, Olympia, just minutes away from the beautiful, wooded campus of St. Martin’s Abbey, the office is already a thriving central hub of support for our customers along the West Coast.

Olympia is located on the very southern end of the Puget Sound, a group of interconnected marine waterways flowing from the Pacific Ocean and reaching inland into Washington state. Puget sound is home to an incredible variety of marine life like the pacific giant octopus and pods of orcas. It is surrounded by landscapes of lush, green, moss-covered forests, and is only a couple hours away from both Mt. Rainier, the tallest Volcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc, and Mt. St. Helens, famous for its eruption in 1980.

“We took the time we needed to truly make this office space work for us,” said Michelle Crites who leads the new “Olympian” team and was instrumental in getting the office up and running. “It was important to LPi that we had a physical location representing us on the West Coast of the country. Once we secured the space, we decided to direct more natural light into it, so we knocked down some walls and now, the layout allows us to see the evergreen forest outside from just about anywhere inside the office. It is very ‘Pacific Northwest.’ I really wanted the office to be a place where people walked in and thought ‘this is fun!’”

As far as the interior design of the office is concerned, Crites and the team used all of the LPi colors in the painting and art around the office. They even used the same carpet as the main office in New Berlin, just with a different coloration.

“I worked with Louie Elahi to get all the furniture and everything in place — he just knew what to do,” said Crites, “and Tim Potrikus [LPi Chief Revenue Officer] and I had a lot of the same vision during the whole process so getting everything finally up and running was a great experience!”

To celebrate the completion of the new office and the new West Coast sales team being built, LPi CEO, Joe Luedtke, flew out to meet the Olympians and toast to their hard work! Team members and their spouses gathered for a meet and greet reception that included LPi members from multiple departments living in both Washington and Oregon to hang out and get to know each other in the new office space.

Cheers to the new Washington team!

Photo of words in the Bible,

At first, the Apostles try to dodge the question. When Jesus confronts them — and make no mistake, it is a confrontation — with the question “Who do you say that I am?” they act like a man whose wife has just asked him if she looks fat in these jeans. The evasiveness of their answer puts politicians to shame: “Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” Some say. But Jesus doesn’t let them off easy. He repeats himself. He wants an answer. “Who do you say that I am?” They all know the answer. They all believe the answer. And they all know the answer could get them thrown in prison or killed. Only Peter is brave enough to say it: “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” People have a lot of opinions about God. They always have. They have a lot of opinions about Jesus and the Bible, about the Catholic Church and the Pope. Some of these opinions are well-founded, well-researched. Some of them are based in ignorance. Many are born of painful misunderstandings. But they are all just that: opinions. Some say. We know who Jesus is. We know who the Eucharist is. We know what the truth is. Amid the chaos and the violence and the excruciating loudness of this fallen world and all the words it shouts into the void about God and Jesus and right and wrong, we know . But will we answer? ©LPi

It isn’t uncommon for me to get to the noon hour only to realize that I haven’t yet eaten anything that day.
